Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure the member base is catered for with offerings
• Ensure members have their concerns raised at forums
• Be an advocate for members and their rights to amenities
• Provide a strong base with options that are affordable for members
• Talk to potential and current suppliers to ensure goods or services are up to a standard Cycle member’s request (expect).

Requirements

• Some negotiating skills with suppliers will help
• Ability to sell ideas and opportunities to the board
• Ability to work online and use tools allowing virtual presence
• Willing to get involved

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Able to work with others
• Controlled debating

Additional Notes

The Member’s Committee will act as the conduit between the board and the members of Cycle.

This committee will communicate member concerns and ideas to the Board and ensure that that various suitable member offers are available to those members.

It is the Member’s Committee’s responsibility to always act as the voice of our members.
