CYCLE is a nation-wide membership organisation that runs off pure adrenaline and enthusiasm.
There are 3.6 million Australians who ride a bicycle at least once a week, and 8 million who ride at least once a year. CYCLE wants to help everyone who rides a bike - or who is even thinking about riding - as well as working with other organisations around Australia.
We’ve proven to be a phenomenal success on social media, with up to 2.4 million reach in a single week! The traditional media loves us, because we share their stories to a wide audience across Australia, and we ensure that commentary about their stories is fair and balanced.
CYCLE is mostly run by volunteers and online contributors, and it’s been a lot of fun so far. But we can’t keep growing like this. We need your support. Your membership matters to us, because it will help us provide you with more representation and a better outcome for your community.
The four main goals of CYCLE are:

To create and share social media content about everyday cycling in Australia, and ensure that media coverage about cycling is fair and balanced.

To represent a broad and diverse range of people who ride bicycles for fitness, fun and transport.

To engage and work positively with other organisations to:
- facilitate better planning and building of safe cycling networks
- remove barriers and impediments to participation
- educate the community about important cycling-related issues
- reach the broader community.

To foster an environment that encourages and enables people to ride their bikes wherever they live and whatever they ride.
We are giving you the opportunity to become a paid-up member of CYCLE. There are five membership options available : Alloy, Steel, Carbon, Titanium and Bamboo (kids) each with a range of options and benefits.
Note that Cycle is a fully registered not-for-profit organisation which operates with a Board of Directors and committees that provide recommendations for the Board’s consideration.
